Who is a current user of the centre, has inspired her colleagues from E2 Orthopaedic Ward of Alder Hey Children's Hospital, to take part in the women's 5k run at Knowsley Hall recently. The donation is being used for the 'Feel Good Factor', a programme of art, music and creative writing therapy.
Michelle and John Kelley
who undertook an outstanding cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in 14 gruelling days. They raised an amazing £800 for users of the centre. Michelle's sister Mary McGrath is an active volunteer at the Tuesday and Thursday group, and all of the team and volunteers of Sunflowers would like to thank them both so much for such an amazing result.
Novartis
An enthusiastic team of employees from Novartis Vaccines helped in our recent rebranding - they donned overalls and painted the interior of the centre for us in time for our launch. What a wonderful group of people who not only completed the decorating, they also paid for new furniture and carpets with money they raised through activities as part of their annual Community Partnership Day.
