We are very proud of the activities that we provide under'The Feel Good Factor'. We understand that the nature of your diagnosis changes you forever and we aim to provide an outlet for the new you with a range of activities to stimulate and activate your mind and body. It is proven that a positive mental state can aid your recovery.
Tai Chi
Local experts Cliff & Joyce Hughes teach the benefits of Tai Chi and make us realise the relaxation and strength that can be learned from this ancient art. The classes are held every Thursday 10.30 -12.30

Youtube Thai ChiCrafts
Each Tuesday Barbara and her team will help you develop your skills in card making. Even if you have never tried this before, these ladies have the patience and skills to help you create something unique. All the tools and materials will be provided to start you off and we look forward to welcoming you on Tuesday afternoons between 2.00 - 4.00pm
Sunflower Choir
Every Thursday afternoon, the fantastic Su Grainger from Sing Your Socks Off takes the Sunflower Choir through their musical paces. As with all of the Feel Good Factor activities, you can join the Sunflower Choir free of charge to take in the highs the lows and the harmonies of the choir all leading up to regular concerts in aid of the centre. If you are interested in joining us for a good hearty sing and you don't have to be a Jose Carreras or Maria Callas then pop in on Thursdays between 1.30 - 3.30pm
Art Therapy
Art is an amazing outlet for emotions and creativity and the art therapy class is a great way to learn a new skill and produce something beautiful or interesting. Discover the basics and apply them to your own work to develop a piece that would look perfect on your own wall. To get involved, Art Therapy is on a Wednesday between 10.30 - 1.30pm
